Need to mount canvas painting

Can anyone recommend a framer that can mount a canvas painting for me please?


I've had some canvas prints mounted before in HK but the workmanship was very shoddy. This painting is very precious to me so I really need a top quality framer - personal recommendations would be great.

We just had one done last weekend by the only framer we have used in HK and they have always done a great job for us. No idea of the shop name but its underneath the Wellcome on Caine Rd by Aberdeen Street. The lady is really nice and even though our picture was enormous it was no problem.

yes! This is the best shop to have it done in. I have had 5 or 6 paintings done there and she is very careful. They will even deliver the paintings to you if they are too big for a taxi. It's on the north side of the road, but I too can't remember the name...

I contacted all the framers in A-Z because I had an issue with a painting that was too big for the lift in my new flat. The framers, including my moving company were quoting some ridiculous prices. The only one that was helpful was May Art, who not only offered (and did actually try with no luck) to try and take my painting up the stairs - 28 floors! - for a 1/3 of the cost of the movers, but also gave me a reasonable price quote to take the canvas off the wooden frame and to restretch it again inside the flat. And they did a great job, and charged me less than their quote! They went out of their way to provide solutions and made some schedule adjustments given the urgency (the framers had to do the job in two visits, because they didn't have enough time on my shipment delivery date). I was so impressed at this unusual level of customer service in HK (I've lived here for 11 years previously, and just returned from overseas), I felt I had to post something. They really tried to help in a seriously stressful situation - very expensive painting, large overseas move, etc. They are in Central, 25230639. I can't say whether their framing charges are cheaper than others, but given this experience, I'd guess they are. I spoke with Nelson, who is the son and whose English is quite good.
