My friend and I are looking for a class for our toddlers, who love to dance and join in musical activities.
We have tried Kindermusik - which was great, but we want something more "dance" orientate.
The toddlers are both 2.5yrs.
Any advice?

If they are girls, you can try ballet. Jean Wong Ballet offers toddler classes for ballet, starting at 2 years and 3 months of age.
My daughter started there 1 year ago, and loves loves loves dancing once a week there.

Southern school of dance start ballet classes at 3. You could also try the Red Shoe dance company, they do more jazz orientated dance. They also start about 3 I think.

You can try Olympian Dance Center.....my sister's little girl and boy have been learning there for more than 2 years now and have really enjoyed it! I have gone and watched the dance shows and performances by the children there. WOW the young kids could dance so well....and they had so much fun on stage! They seem to have jazz and ballet classes for children as young as 2 yrs of age. The school is in Olympian City 2 shopping center.

My son (5 yrs old) loves dancing. It includes tap dancing since he saw it on TV and doing it on its own. I sense ballet would not fit his need for moving / shaking his body with lots of energy. Would anybody know tap dance/ hip hop/ jazz for kids where music is important too. Many thanks

Hi all I intend to start dance classes, and have the first Hip Hop syllabus that will be introduced in Hong Kong. I will focus mostly on teaching kids 3 to 10 to begin with and will carry on after that to higher levels but my passion is instilling a love of dance to young kids and growing it.
I will also do a Jazz syllabus that has a lot of variety and includes some more pop styles and lyrical aswell as improntu. It's a great syllabus have a look online:

anyway, haven't decided when to start up as I ahve two toddlers but am seeing what interest there is and where. I am in Ma On shan New Territories.
