Has anyone had cosmetic surgery in Phuket? Thinking of having upper eyelid surgery at either Phuket Int or Bangkok Phuket Hosp.Any experiences?

yes i had upper and lower surgery done in phuket last year and was very happy with the result. was done under local anaesthetic though which came as a bit of a shock afterwards but i was really sedated all the way through and felt no pain whatsoever during or after

i did some surgery in Bangkok, at Yanhee Hospital which a Thai friend suggested. It was very good, the Western wing of the hospital is well run, and very professional. I would suggest you really check out all the surgeon's references, and see if they will allow you to contact past clients, do your research ! At Yanhee, they made a temporary appointment for me, went to do the initial consult, and then made my choice. Allow enough time for recovery, and pick a good hotel to go to afterwards.

Thanks very much for this both of you. Alexandra where did you have your eyes done and which surgeon? I am due to go to Phuket next month and will not be able to travel to Bangkok to have it done as Sandie did.

Hi there.. I had upper and lower eyelids done, and a mid facial. Which I have to say, even myself it looks fab, I did it in June, and came back to HK after a week, and was able to go out and be social without anyone knowing. The comments were just you look so rested ! and healthy.. so it does pay off. Also, the Dr. did it very gently, not one of these ultra tight facials, just a very natural looking lift. I.E. my cheekbones went back to where they were supposed to be. Drawback ? not being able to do any exercise for at least one full month, up to 6 weeks! Again worth it, as now when I do a headstand nothing moves downwards....
As I mentioned, please do the research, and ask every question you can think of, and don't rush into this, if you can take a good friend with you to help out, its pretty traumatic alone.
