Can you suggest a great restaurant to take my parents for their 50th wedding anniversary please? Money no object. They are quite old and may not appreciate the bright lights of the Vegas casinos. (I tried the Macau forum, but it is pretty dead over there) THANKS!

If money no object... Robuchon a Galera.

Thanks - how was it, say in comparison to Gaddis? What about a place that does good Mecanese food?

The Military Club is formal and traditional.

Went to Henri's Galley. Good Macau food, and reasonable. Supposedly once the best restaurant in Macau, just under Bella Vista. Had lunch at the Military Club - buffet for $108 was great, but the surroundings are amazing. Also went to Galo on Taipa which was probably the best Meccanese food of the trip - olde restaurant and average service, but great food.

Good to see your feedback, did your parents enjoy their 50th?

Yes they did thank you! There are some great sights in Macau, which hopefully won't get lost with all the mega casinos going up. We stayed at the Pousada Mong Ha which was a quiet hotel in Macau and used as a training hotel for the Institute of Tourism - a nice little colonial style hotel.
