Is there any nice french and italian restaurant with good food that i can go to in hk?

French:

Spoon at the Intercontinental Hotel, TST

Gaddi's at The Peninsula, TST

Vong at The Mandarin Oriental, Central (in loving memory...)


Italian:

Gaia at Grand Millenium Plaze, Central

Nicholini's at the Conrad, Admiralty

Grissini at the Grand Hyatt, Wanchai

Um, didn't Vong close when the Mandarin Oriental went for renovation? Not exatly French either...

or Caprice at the 4 seasons! Pierre is quite 'nouvelle cuisine', not to everyone's liking...

Le Tire Bouchon is really good and not expensive (except if you try their veru good wine as I did...)

When I say not expensive it means 300HKD for 1 starter + 1 Main course + 1 dessert

A good bottle of wine is around 1000HKD.

How about taking a visit to our next door neighbor Macau? I have been to a few good restaurants like Grassini, Gaja, and others here, but the best dinning experience I got was from Robuchon a Galera in Hotel Lisboa. If you love wines, then you have to take a look at their wine list. I also heard that the restaurnat has a very good value-for-money lunch menu.
