i have friends coming into town for 3days and the weather is supposed to be crap-- what can we do to entertain them ?
any ideas?

It depends on which 3 days they are coming into town. If it's over a weekend then you will probably find more things to do.
If the weather is going to be not so crash hot, then I'd take them to the museums in TST, take them for a look around the shops in the Landmark and Pacific Place. Go for lunch in the Excelsior and then do some more shopping in Causeway Bay.
If I was you and stuck for ideas, I'd pick up a copy of HK Magazine and see what's on. Take them to a show or something, and there are often gigs that are quite popular on at the Fringe.

Take them to Lamma for a day... good weather, in my view, for a walk around the island and then some excellent sea food!
Or, to Lantau, the Big Buddha and meal at Stoeps.
