Hello,
My son wants video games and I think they're ok in moderation. Which do you suggest? I'd like to get both the kind he can play with a friend at home and the handheld type which he could take on plane rides. I don't know which are good. We had a Playstation 2 which was dropped by accident broke. Someone can sell me a Playstation 1 for a great price.( I think it's old and they don't make the games for it anymore, right?) Would my games from Playstation 2 work on it? Also, do you know anything about Game cube, nintendo DS or Gameboy Advance? I heard XBOX games may be a bit too violent? Are they all good? ANY advice would certainly be greatly appreciated!

The Nintendo video games screwed up the motivation of our lad when he was young. He was active on all sorts of good stuff before Diddy Kong messed him up.
Be VERY careful!! Moderation is not easy to control, and you may have a nightmare ahead.
Just my advice. Still struggling to get back to normality here after 7 years. :(

My son uses the xbox 360 and the games are very violent. I have just found the only appropiate one for xbox and it is called Cars.
If you can try and steer away from the computer games. I agree that it has demotivated my son and he finds playing anything else boring.
