Hi, I will be travelling down to Bali and one of the most important factors when deciding on which hotel to stay at will be which has the best beach? If you have stayed there and know the area any help would be much appreciated thanks.

It depends on where in Bali, southern ? Hotel with direct beach access ? one good one is Intercontinental Jimabaran Beach, clean, and not so touristy, also same area is Four Seasons.
Kuta very touristy, and too many ''hawkers''. Seminyak/Legian Oberoi Hotel, clean beach area and you can walk up to Kuta if you want, Lots of small villa resorts in that area, too many to list here.

Just returned from Bali, but I doubt whether we would go again.
Probably we expected too much. Kuta, oh no.
But spa treatment was wonderful.

ok, you have to take buggy to beach, but wow.... talk about pristine, and private and the Hotel, fabulous ! Stayed at F.season, service in my humble opinion, is much better at RC.
