I am considering trying the microdermabrasion facial. It would be great if anyone tried it before would share their experience - is it effective? is it safe? where to get it done with an affordable price?
I read that the Spa Par Zai on another thread provides this kind of facial. Anyone knows if it is done by a qualified professional there? The pricing seems very reasonable but I am a little skeptical (hehe, my nature...)

I started going for microdermabrasion at Spa BPZ, through a friend's recommendation. They're fully qualified- I'm always worried about this kind of stuff too but Spa BPZ really went beyond my expectations! Microdermabrasion. What are you worried about? I have been doing for ages and its great. You can even get s home pot an do it yourself to try first. I use the Lancome microdermabrasion and it is brilliant! Nothing to be worried about!

Tried diamond dermabrasion in Japan, are they the same.
It costs a lot there, what about in HK.

I went to Sense of Touch. There are two locations in Central, Hollywood Road and Wyndham St. I think. They use a diamond tip laser which my beautician at home in Australia says is the only one worth using as it's the most effective. It cost me HKD490, but you have to say you don't want the facial with it otherwise it's nearly 900 bucks. I don't have any problems after except a slight redness which only lasts a couple of hours at most.

if i am not mistaken, one at bpz uses natural abrasion materials , and not aluminium flakes like most other places, and it does the trick well too.
does anyone know anything about actual dermabrasion?

Microdermacrasion removes the epidermal layer of teh skin, dermabrasion works on the dermal layer. Its a great skin resurfacing treatment. If you want a good treatment call 2522 4660.

Sorry, fair call. Elemis Day Spa do a microdermabrasion facial, using crytal powder to resurface the skin. It's combined with a basic Elemis facial so great products as well. Let me know how you go, if you need anymore info.
