Hi. There are so many types of car seats in the market that I am confuse. I saw Venus Car Seat, comes in 5 positions, suitable for infant till toddler. It is the cheapest I've seen in the market, at S$139 discounted price (originally at S$199). It is made from Europe, Polland, I think.
Has anyone use Venus Car Seat before? Any good and bad comment? I am attracted to it because of the cheap price, and also it does look good, not some cheap looking made product.
What are the features I should look out for when purchase a car seat?

well - some things that come to mind -
* Does it have at least a 5 point harness?
* adjustable shoulder straps, so as the baby grows you can raise the strap level according to their height?
* does the top of the carseat look as if it would protect the child on impact?
* does it go rear facing until the child is at least a year old - and how many kilos does it take forward facing?
* is the buckle sturdy enough so that your toddler can't pop it out him or herself?
These are some of the question to ask. you may want to do a simple internet search to see if there are any comments about your specific car seats.
in the US, the one carseat which is known as the BMW of carseats is the Britax. You might want to compare some of your features with some of their models. www.britaxusa.com
