Does anyone know where I might buy 'vitex' or 'sinus buster womens formula' in HK?

Again, thanks Sylvialili. I came across the womens forum after posting my query in practical so ended up in both. Have you tried vitex or the sinus buster womens formula?

I had used Vitex for a period of time to regulate my hormones back in 1994-95. I used to have very irregular period (no cycle to speak of), mood swings, tender breasts, get very bloated...the list goes on.

If I recall correctly, I think Vitex did help to a certain extent but didn't really solve all the problems.

Hormone is a tricky business. Apart from herbal and nutritional supplements, lifestyles do play a very important role as it affects our overall general well being, particularly emotional well being.

Are you getting your proteins and good fats?

For Sylvialili - Am eating well and conscious of healthy diet but have experienced overwhelming emotional feelings 2 days prior to and into my period - went on the web to search and self diagnose! Came up with Vitex and thought it may help and therefore my thread of enquiry. Rest of month - happy as larry!

From what you've written, it's pretty obvious it's hormonal imbalance.

Instead of using Vitex, I suggest you consider going to a natural health practitioner for a thorough consultation. I go to Arden Wong, an Australian trained homeopath, who is very gentle and understanding about women's health issues. The best part about going to Arden is that it won't break your bank and you won't end up with 10 different supplements and herbal extracts to take.

Here's Arden Wong's website
