I am soon going to Shanghai from Moscow, wondering how much does it cost for a nanny in Shanghai?? she should do some chore such as clean the house, ironing etcs. But the most important thing is to take care of my kid.

Are you wanting a live in nanny, full time live outside the house nanny, or part time come in and clean the house watch the kid nanny?
I would say for one child full time not live in nanny should cost around 600 to 1000 rmb depending on experience and your demands of her.
I first hired my nanny for 800 rmb she was a Non Local and lived outside our home. I raised her up over the year to 1200. However, now with our 3rd baby coming im also looking for another nanny haha.. a live in one this time.

Hi, Thank you for your information, but it is unbelievable, it's like 100 dollars. I don't need a live in Nanny, but I do need someone who does cook, and take care the chore. and send and pick up my daughter to/from school. yes, please give me couple of reliable agency number, or nannies who worked already with Xpat family. I dont know too many who have had ones who worked for xpat families. i always pick the fresh ones who havent worked with foreigners. Here is one agency. You can pick the one you like based on your requirements including whether you want her to teach your child or help with homework. If you happen to want a phillipino nanny i can call a friend who has the number. All of these nannies speak english but i believe they cost more.
