I like nordic naturals.
They have a very well regarded cod liver oil which is heavy metal free and contaminant free.
Graheme Stuart Bradshaw's clinic has them.

I have 2 books in my office with multiple comparisons on vitamins including Omega 3. The Usana brand rates as one of the highest and it has a very high absorbtion rate. I am affraid Blackmores rates pretty low for some reason. I think they have some other brands at Nutrition shops whaich i think would be better than what you buy in Watsons or Mannings.

highdesertnow - try Comvita's Omega 3, very high quality
onemorething - At the price you mentioned above, I would be extremely wary about the quality. It has been widely publicized that lots of the Omega 3(deep sea fish oil) sold are NOT deep sea fish oil. Bottles of capsules were bought from various sources and locations in HK and taken to the lab to see if they live up to what they claim to be. The results were shocking though just as what I had long been suspected - these were found to be HYDROGENATED soy bean oil, corn oil and things alike. By taking these so called "Omega 3," you are literally doing more harm than good to your body.
D-man - I am glad what you pointed out about Blackmores.
