Best place to get baby's hair cut

I have a 1 year old who is starting to look a little scruffy. This will be his first haircut so I am hoping to find somewhere very baby friendly that is also non scary for him and not outrageously expensive (for me!).

Thanks

Does anyone take a 4 month old baby for a haircut too? Baby's hair is growing so long and weather getting warm, but hubby and I are just too nervous to do it by ourselves. Any recommendation?

we take our 2 year old son to the one in DB that we really like. it's full of toys and portable dvd that he refused to leave even after the haircut. but i guess DB is a bit far for you to travel. nicher, i think it's too early to take a 4 month old to a hairdresser. for me personally i think it's too much money to spend on a 4 month old, i cut my son's hair until he was one.

My friend brings her daughter to a hair salon in Stanley and pays less than $100. I'm sorry but I don't have the name of the hair salon.
