I wish to do some voluntary work in Hong KOng. Working with the elderly, social work, visiting hospitals/reading to children/. Limited cantonese. Any advice.

The following organisation matches volunteers to charities. Btw, note that if your HK visa does not permit you to work then you cannot do even voluntary work without permission from HK Immigration (although that is now a formality for the 2003-2006 spouses who were previously affected).
