Sterlizing a pacifier - microwave-Safety issues

I used to put the pacifier in the sterilizer but now I just put them in boiling water and put the bottles and teats in the dishwasher.

Yes, if using a microwave sterilizer. Microwave sterilizers work in the same manner as steam sterilizers by turning water into steam that kill any bacteria . Have several sterilized pacifiers available so if one gets dropped it can be replaced.
