Does anyone know where I can buy masa harina to make traditional mexican corn tortillas? Apparently I can't substitute cornstart or cornmeal for the recipe. Any other alternatives?

No, there is no substitute for masa harina if you want to make corn tortillas. I've never been able to find it here. The only thing I can think of (which I haven't tried) is to ask some of the Mexican restaurants around town whether they import it, and whether you can get some from them. If you succeed, let me know!

Thanks hkkm, will let you know! I thought I'd try 360, but the restaurants are a good idea, although, if it's that hard to find they probably stick to the regular ones.
