Hi, I just got this and primarily use email and the monthly calendar view. However, I"m having a problem with the monthly view in that it won't show start times of appointments, only the subject of the appointment. I've tried the "high" level detail view with no luck and also customize view. Is anyone else having this problem? I've already searched the internet and only found one other comment on it, but no solution. Any suggestions appreciated, otherwise, will need to downgrade to 2003 again!

or you might check into Thunderbird - it is a highly rated, and very customizable e-mail client.

for anyone else who might encounter the above problem, resize the vertical menu bar to the left of the monthly calendar, by making is smaller. Then the start times show on the calendar. Pretty annoying that something so silly caused me so much hassle- thanks Microsoft!

I've installed excel, outlook and onenote. They are all ok, but not earthshattering. Outlook- I hardly notice any difference, but I am not a power user. Excel, which I do use alot, has changed a bit. It's frustrating trying to find commands in the new layout, but I guess it will take more time to get used to (I have to use a reference chart to find the new locations of commands). I do like Onenote (it's more flexible than Outlook's "notes", but I have had problems with the program- it reset itself the other day and all my data disappeared- I still don't know what caused it. Fortunately, it does back itself up, so I got my info back. However, I don't trust the program anymore! So- mixed reviews re: office 2007. And I got Vista- big mistake! Turns out that my photo printer is not compatible with Vista (and the manufacturer will not be providing drivers for it) and some of my favorite software I used with XP do not have Vista versions! So I am thinking about downgrading to XP!
