I believe this one t-shirt and one pair of shorts are for personal use? If that's the case, it's highly likely that you don't need to lodge a declaration.

Go to http://www.customs.gov.hk/eng/major_e.html

click on Import/Export Declarations, it will give you all the info that you need to lodge a declaration if it is required at all.

Are those not available in HK, maybe more expensive but less pain in that region.

Or can't UPS do it for you, they are the expert even it is for personal use only.

Hi Shane,

I think every parcel coming into HK needs to have this document if I am not mistaken. It is normally provided by the company who sent you your items in the first place, not UPS or FedEx. It's a simple declaration on their official paperwork stating what the product(s) is and the value of the product. I have ordered stuff incl. meds all for personal use from the US and other parts of the world and have not had a problem.

ps- I have always found this declaration stuck on top of all my parcels. I suppose it is so that the customs officials can at least take a quick glance at it.
