Desktop Oven: advice needed

Hi, I love to bake but since moving to HK, I find I can no longer accomodate a decent sized conventional oven in our tiny kitchen. I bought a desktop oven from Wing On but am very disappointed with it as it doesn't have a fan, thus one side of my cake cooks more than the other, driving me absolutely bananas.

This time round I would like to be smart and enquire from all of you if there is a particular brand and model number that I should buy. As I said, I could only buy the type that rests on top of the table, but I would like the proper type that does proper baking (not the toaster oven or microwave 2-in-1 type please), and I bake biscuits, cheecakes and pecan pies mostly. Many thanks!!

We have a SHARP Carousel (JET Convection and Grill) it is a covection oven and microwave and it is fantastic. We have even cooked a turkey in it!! However, we did buy a good 10 years ago and I have not seen it in the shops but then I haven't been looking either, but I am sure they must have brought out a newer model since then. Sorry can't be of more help.

I love to bake also Mummybee1... we bought a Panasonic Inverter Convection oven for our teeny weeny kitchen which pretty much does it all. I have made cakes and biscuits which have all turned out perfectly with the same temp and duration per recipe and am going to do a Roast in it in a week or so. Our is similar to this but we will have an older model. there were a few similar ones we could choose from but went top of the line from memory. http://panasonic.com.sg/web/pid/1142

I think we got it from SOGO
