Help Mums - presents for 2yr old girl

So what do I ask everyone to buy my 2yr old for her birthday?


I've got toys from my other daughter and I need something that is small enough to fit in my suitcase when I return back from UK to HK. My family like buying gifts rather than giving money. Anyone had a great present given to their little one they can share with me?

My parents and some close family members give money towards her college/university funds. Both of my girls, now only 1 and 3 years old have over 10,000 USD started in these funds. These are US based funds but I am sure there will be something similar in the UK.


I especially liked it in regards to the thoughts that it was for my child's future. If you already have all the toys and clothes - why not invest in their future?

DVDs and music CDs!!! I've had people get my kids snow shoes, big lego sets, huge beach towel...hello, they are all sitting in my parents' attic in the US because you know I don't have room for all that in my luggage!
