Hi,


I'm just wondering about the hygiene of pedicures. Is it possible to get an infection? Does anyone take their own 'kit' along. If so, where did you get it, how much?

You should be very careful when you get your manicure,pedicure or any other treatments done. People can go to shenzhen and do cheap pedicure but you can get infected very easily. So i dont want to take that risk. Most of the reputed places(spas) in HK do clean job or you can bring your own kit and they will help to keep it with your name on it.

I always bring my own kit. I asked the girl that does my pedicure and manicure to buy the kit for me - that way she is familiar with the equipment. I also go to places that line the water bucket with a fresh plastic bag before they fill it with water and soak your feet/hands in the bucket. Happy to report - no infection after more than 10 years with this practice.

Same here. They'll cover the bucket with clean plastic bag and fill it with water and add some fresh rose petals. You can ask them to get the kit for you. All you need to do is just sit and relax. I have been going to beaute par zai, reasonable price comparing to other beauty salon-2524 1272
