Seeking help/advice/serive to help our company. We have nice tour company in Chengdu with a route in Beijing, few months ago, we sent our AR manager to collect a 300K debt in Beijing, he has been with the company a year, works hard and trustworthy. After leaving for Beijing and collecting the money owed to the company, he never returned. He signed a forge document and is living in Beijing with plans to open his own tour company. Can anyone help me or give suggestion on how to capture him and get my money back?? Company is willing to give % of recovered funds to persons able to collect quickly and press charges for capture and imprisoning the thief! All documents are avail. including his Chinese ID, he even call our present manager acting like nothing happened offering him a job at his firm! Please email me to discuss possible resolutions.
Thanks,
Mason

You slould tell the police officer all the things, and they will help you on that.

Ask the police to work for you is the good way to handle this kinds of affairs. And If you ask someone to catch the person, the behaver is illegal.

This kind of behavior is regarded as "purpresture" according to Chinese Law. There are 2 solutions to deal with: One way is to report to the police station as long as the person is proved to be the employee in this company. The other way is to sue the the company which owed 300K , adjudge the company had paid that amount of money through lawsuit. Police Station will deal with the case with judgement.
Two ways here can be referenced by you. Please feel free to contact with me if you have any questions. I can be reached at peter.mufei@gamil.com

One good reason why the police does not act is you have not given them enough evidence to act. Don't forget that most of the evidence you have are all internal documents. We cannot expect all policemen are superhumans who can tell who is right or who is wrong. We cannot expect them to beat up ex-AR manager to force him to admit.
oben is right on the point on sueing the company which owed 300K. That will expose many things and more importantly confirm your allegation.
