When do you start sex education for kids?
At what age and how do you approach?
I have got great books from the book store and wants to show my kid, but am not sure if it is right at her age.
My kid is 3.5 years old and knows the difference between male/female, ladies/gentlemen.
Back in my home country, some primary kids mentioned in school that they should be taught sex education from primary one??
Any comments?

I think 3.5 is rather early to be learning about sex ed.
Certainy make sure she knows the difference between girls and boys but she doesn't need to know anything more, she will naturally enquire as she gets older and you can take your prompting fom this, bit now know, she's still a little one!

I have always answered questions as the come up with my children eg. how does a baby get inside a Mummy, why is Daddy my Daddy etc.
I think my son was 4 when he started asking quesitons. He got the correct answer and didn't push it any further.

There is a difference between sex education and a young child wanting to know how their bodies work. They may ask where babies come from, but are usually content with a simple answer like from mummys tummy, but they may be very interested in how they breathe, why they cen feel their heart, how they feel their ribs when they breathe in, and especially things to do with going to the toilet, like where poo comes from.
