Hi,

What brand of cereal is good to start feeding my 6 months old baby? I'm choosing between Earth Best (which i haven't found yet) or Healthy times. Thanks.

Earth's best is what I used.

It's available at Olivers.

i used Gerber for about a week and am now making homemade rice cereal from brown rice. the superbaby book recommends this as does the paeditrician.

Hi Honeypie - Earth's Best is available in City Super for sure. My baby first started with Nestle at first but he didn't like it. Then I changed to Earth's Best. It smells better and it's organic. He likes it.

Have given our baby all sorts of organic brands, including Organix, Holle, Hipp, Four Seasons (?). I did't want baby to become too picky.

Honeypie- yes it's in a box. Both City Super in Central and CWB sell it! And yes it's located somewhere near Healthy Times baby food section! (not as much shelf presence as Healthy Times though as far as I remember.) You couldn't have missed it!

All brands are ok so long as you read the labels carefully. Heinz and Gerber seem to put sugar into their cereal.
