I have to go in for some relatively minor surgery
this week, and the local doctor I have consulted with had recommended having it done at Canossa Hospital.
Most of the expats I know use Adventist or Matilda. Before I go in for my surgery, is there anything the longer-term expats know that I don't know about Canossa?
I don't think there's anything to know, but I just would hate to have someone after the fact say "Geeze, you went THERE?? EVERYONE knows about that place."

Riverman,
We are an expat family. My son had some minor surgery done at Canossa Hospital. Although the doctor that performed his surgery was our doctor, the staff was the hospitals' staff. All spoke well enough english and was great with my son's recovery process.
We have also been to Canossa for emergency's and everything was fine. Of course Matilda and Adventis is catering to the expat and may appear more pleasant I think you will be fine at Canossa as long as you are not a high maintenance patient. Good Luck.
