This might sound like a crazy question but I was considering going to Disneyland on Thursday the 5th. I know it is a public holiday here and China but I was thinking becaUSE it is grave sweeping day maybe funparks e.t.c will be quiet. We are new to Hong Kong so excuse my ignorance.

there is a stay and play offer. you can book an overnite stay at one of the hotels, and get in disneyland the next day for free. so you have two unhurried days to enjoy disneyland.

Not necessarily. I went there on 1st January with some visitors thinking it would be packed, but in fact it was quite the opposite. Most of the people there were mainland tourists and there weren't that many locals at all. I suppose most people were trying to avoid the crowd that day =P so it turned out to be a lovely day out for us - less than half an hour queuing for rides, plenty of available seating at eateries...
