Might be a stupid question, but just pondering - why is it that there are no seagulls in HK? As far as I know, I saw ONE altogether and I've been here for over 2 years now.

Lol. I know that and pollution would be offered as reasons, but really? Seagulls are basically fish and garbage-eaters, they should thrive here.
