Hello everybody,
I will be travelling to japan next week and acording to the weather forecast I saw on net the temperatures are as low as 8 or 9... is it really so?
Does this mean i have to carry thick jackets ... I have to travel light as I have to take charge of other things...
Does the temp rises during the noon or its the whole day low temperature thing?
Any insight wil be helpful..
Thanks

This is what I normally do, layering, taking off when necessary.
Bring a lightweight quilted jacket, walking around temples and other sights in Kyoto requires walking but buses are convenient.
Go to Kyoto Mitsukoshi dept. store, during lunch restaurant serve Kyoto-fu(Kyoto-style)reasonably priced set menu which would cost a fortune during dinner or elsewhere.
In Osaka, try the clear broth noodles, Osaka-style pancake called okonomiyaki and takoyaki.
Sushi is also reasonable.
