there are some silk stores on queens rd west in sheung wan, they are connected with the western market stalls. Thats the first place i would try. I buy beautiful silks in shenzhen. The prices are markedly cheaper and the range is more extensive. While it is a bit of a way to go, it is worth it due to the choice of fabrics.
