Is there somewhere to practice yoga without the 'trendiness' and 'competition'? I'm in C-bay.

Yeah, I was afraid of that. Thanks Roverlandy.

Glad you're smiling Donnialda, I'm sure there must be but I thought my reply might spark a little debate- or at least some abusive replies from Yogis. Good luck.

Where do you live/work, Donnialda?

Mamadavid, I'm in C-bay (Causeway Bay)
Roverlandy, I got your intended. Surprised as well. I've checked with the Buddhist center here in C-bay, but they don't have English classes.
Chiki, thanks for idea, but the idea is to find a yoga practice that isn't 'just' exercise, as it was originally intended. Finding that rather difficult here in Manufactureville.

Try Jan Moor's classes at the YWCA English speaking Member's Dept., MacDonnell Road, Mid-levels. Web site is http://esmd.ywca.org.hk/. You won't find better than her. She does offer classes elsewhere as well, but I'm not sure where.

Have you checked out yogalimbs? They have a good reputation. mYoga is not so good in yoga---instruction is hit and miss and short---only and hour.

I am very happy with Iyengar Yoga in Sheung Wan. No attitude, very calm.
