I am planning ot order some clothes from a UK website - does any one know if there will be any duties charged on clothing stuff coming in to HK? (have ordered DVDs before and not had any charges)

In lots and lots of years here, I've ordered everything from DVDs to books to clothes and who knows what else, and never had any duties charged. Unless you are ordering a warehouse full, I think HK is still immune from this sort of petty harassment! One way to be certain is to ask at any post office.

Thanks for the reples, yes I have got confirmation from the website that no VAT will be charged at the uk end.
