Where to get fish for fish tank?

We have just purchased a fish tank and would like to know the best place to get fish. We would like a couple of different kinds (small coloured types) and a place that will advise of what fish can co-exist etc.

there's a street near Fa Yuen St towards Prince Edward that has loads of aquarium shops

also in wan chai there is one shop near hk jockey club i always buy from there

Just behind Cosco tower in Sheng Wan are two or three shops with everything you need. I cannot remember the street name.

Or just down from Tai Koo shing is the Hong Kong Aquarium Plaza on King's Road. Plenty of shops selling all sorts of fish, and usually someone who can speak a bit of English (you might have to try more than one person) who can advise which fish can live with which.

Tung Choi st gold fish market in Mong Kok really is the best place. You can get fresh water and marine fish and the people are very helpful too!
