We are moving from HK to Shanghai and are looking for a school for our primary 8 and 12 year olds. Our children currently go to HKIS.
Can anyone tell us what they think of Concordia International School? How are the teachers, the community and the academic attainment? Are students from Concordia well-placed in universities in UK and US? How about the Mandarin program (compared to HKIS?)?
Thanks for your help!

I have heard its pretty darn good. It ranges from 11k to 24k RMB depending on childs age and needs. They usually require a 4 year teaching degree plus at least 4 years experience teaching. I have a friend whos son goes there and she loves the school alot.
good luck!!!

Hi M
I can help you do some research on what the different schools offer here. I have been here for 6 years and I run a concierge service, part of what I do is personalized research for families moving here. If you would like to know more just email me at sh.partyplanner at gmaildotcom
Thanks!

Are you sure its 11k - 24k USD? The last advertisement i saw said RMB not USD. I think it was in That's Shanghai mag. Either way its expensive however, ive heard nothing but good things about it.
good luck and if you have any other questions about Shanghai feel free to send me a Pm or post something!
