Chewing mittens

ORIGINAL POST

My baby boy has started this bad habit of chewing on his mittens. It will be his fingers if he did not have his mittens on. Is there a way that I can stop this bad habit?

how old is he?

i am not a fan of mittens, my baby wore them once and it was when he left the hospital.

it's a personal thing but i think it's good they find their fingers (i don't mean for thumb sucking) but as in, to discover various parts of their bodies, learn how to grip toys and mummy's fingers, etc....good for development.

so i wouldn't worry about it!

Bad habit? What bad habit? Seems fairly normal action to me, but then again, I have only been the father to 5 children ;)

Babies have a natural instinct to do this, it is perfectly fine and healthy and they will grow out of it.
