i am a single mum looking to formalise the custody of my child. it is beyond an amicable settlement with the father. i am a cantonese speaker. don't think i can afford the $5,000 per hour legal fees, but i a above the threshold for legal aid. any advise on what i can do / expect appreciated

if there is no amicable settlement, it is likely that a hearing for the custody of the child will be heard before the Family Court.
