Hi Everyone.
I did a search on Air Asia but couldn't find anything I needed...
Has anyone flown with Air Asia (low cost airline)from Macau to Bangkok?
If you have, can u tell me the following...
--How good or secure is their online booking?
--Is it possible for me to just go to the Macau airport where Air Asia has its counter, and purchase a ticket right there? And does this cost more or the same as buying online?
--How would you rate the flight(s) that you've taken?
thanks for your help.

Have used their online booking many times and isok, but just check that your booking says 'confirmed' and not 'pending'. If it is the latter you need to follow up on the phone and make sure they have collected the payment to avoid problems at check-in.
As far as a i know all booking is done online.
The flight is ok but basic and cramped for taller people. You get what you pay for!

I have done many trips with Air Asia in the past 4 years. Online booking is OK. Air fare change every day/minute depend on supply and demand, the closer to travelling day, the more expensive the fare.
Basic service, hand-written boarding pass, no free food/beverage on board.
But, I don't mind as I pay less.

I've flown Air Asia twice Macau to Bangkok and have been very happy with them. Booked online both times, but once in BKK I booked next flight to Chang Mai from inside airport. No surprises. I didn't find the seating any more cramped than any other typical airline. Pay for snacks like crackers or cola / tea on board. Remember there is no pre-assigned seating. It's definitely budget but quite acceptable, I think.

my wife and I used airasia last summer 2 times
i was very very satisfied with them
true, you need to pay for snacks if you want any, but they are not expensive and the flights are sooo cheap if you buy in advance,
we went from macau to kl and then a week later from kl to manila,
both flights left late, the macau flight left about 4 hours late and the kl flight left about an hour late, i don't mind, when we are on holidays we usually have no fixed schedule, but, i would be careful about using airasia to connect with other flights - other than being late - which might matter a lot to you - i think the price is great, also, the seats in the two planes we were in were leather and quite comfortable, esp for shorter trips, space seemed about the same as many standard aircraft (economy)
good luck, i wouldn't worry about airasia imho

btw, macau air is quite decent for what you pay for, given that is a somewhat budget airline and a meal given from flight mcm-bkk.
although i realise airasia has a sale for bkk right now.

Just flew Air Asia (Johor to Sandakan and back) Booked on-line with no problems. Very efficient check-in and can pay a little extra for 'VIP' boarding so get better choice of seat. Flights both left and arrived on time, so no complaints, all in all very pleasant and will definately use them again.
