Hi guys
I'm getting married in September and had planned to get my dress made in London, but the designer is now unavailable. Can anyone recommend a designer/ shops in HK? (I'm very new to HK and haven't got a clue! ;) )

You should have a look at the dress shops that are advertised in HK magazine - they are quite good and will also make some things to order. If you have a specific design in mind then there is a tailor who specialises in wedding dresses in d'agulair st in central, just near the milan station (1st floor)

If you are not so much set on purchasing your dress you might consider hiring one. My dress was hired from one of the many shops in Kimberly Road (?), TST. I found one I really liked and they did the minor alterations (believe it or not, to take it in a bit - very rare for HK) for free. I was really pleased with it on the day and everyone said it looked a dream.
