Annoying Commercial By Fax

Hi,


We've been receiving lots of rubbish via fax (commercial/promotion) and we would like to know if we can report those companies to stop them faxing rubbish wasting our ink and paper. So far what we have done is to call the phone number on the fax and ask them to stop faxing things over. Usually they (staff at the company which help other companies to generate promotion faxes) will ask for our number and say they will take it off their list. How can we stop these companies using our fax number for promotion? Anywhere we can report this annoying behavour?
