sandals: which brand?

With weather warming up, I want to buy a good pair of sandals for my active, running-around 20 month old. She has an excellent proper shoes from Clarks but she needs to wear socks with them and her legs are heating up in them. Bought a pair of sandals of Bata brand from Malaysia but the straps seem to make her tender skin red. Two questions: (1) do all sandals cut? and (2) which brand do you recommend?

Have you tried Footstop? They will measure your child's foot properly - and they recommend wearing socks with the sandals for a week until you break them in, and then move on to just the sandals.

My daughter had two pairs from them - and she loved them both and she was great in them. They are pricey, but I do think they are well worth the investment.
