I am planning to take my LO (15mths old) to the beach but am really puzzled on how to clean him up afterwards as the showers only offer cold water. I know I can hold him in the shower and go under with him but it is still so cold. Any suggestions?

I just try and wash all of the sand off with sea water and then bung them in the car and shower at home. They are very cold though, they put my friends little boy off the beach for a long, LONG time.

We take our baby (15 months) to the beach, brush him off with a towel, and then bath at home.
When we go to the pool though, we take him in the shower, as it is warm.
Have fun, ours is still a bit afraid of the sand, it might take a few trips for baby to get used to the new sensations, but it is really fun!
