Cooking Green Peas

Hi Moms and Dads,

Does anyone know a good way to cook Green Peas? I got some nice Waitrose Organic frozen green peas and I boiled them with water till soft then blended the peas with my food processor; however, the skin is still quite hard for a young baby (6.5M) to swallow. I've heard that a Mouli is good to handle green peas but I don't know where I can find one in here. Anyone has other suggestions?

Many thanks.

this is really time consuming -0 but after boiling - I'd pop them out of the skins. The skins are a bit tough and hard to swallow - but it helped once I popped them out.

I notice that the fresh are a bit better with the skins than the frozen unfortunately. I gave up on green peas because they were so finicky and then ended going more with green beans...until my daughter was older.

yes, i have been giving my kid waitrose frozen organic too - it's pretty impossible to find fresh ones in SG.

i try not to give too much...because even at 13 months, the skins are pretty indigestible for my little guy!

i would try getting a mouli...that might help.
