name the best cities you can enjoyed with your babies and toddlers in tow...

hi,have you been on holiday since having your babies and children?where to is the most baby friendly and most enjoyable?

We have travelled a lot with my first one, daughter is now almost 4. She is a born traveller, so whereever we went, she was good.

With the second one now, both kids together, we have only been to Japan. Osaka and Tokyo. Not known to be baby friendly, but it is for us I think.


I think it really depends how you design your trip. Many parents like to stay in ONE resort while on vacation with young children, we don't. We like very busy and active itinerary. We have a great time.

The most fun we have had is Tokyo.

We had a good time in Gold Coast and Sydney too.

Hubby and I loved to travel before we had our son, and when he was born almost 4 years ago, that didn't stop us. In fact, I was told that the earlier you expose him to travel, the more adjusted he becomes. And I think, based on experience with my little one that it's true. Going long haul with him is never an issue. And he actually looks forward to vacations/travels now that he has more awareness of the places, people and food.

Sentosa, Singapore and Tanjung Aru in Kota Kinabul in Malaysia both owned by Shangri La.

We're the same - figured once you start a family there's never a time so easy to travel as the first year of your first child and our 15 month old has been all over the place.


Really enjoyed Chiang Mai as it's relaxed and chilled and easy to get out into the countryside. We stayed in a mid price hotel with lovely pool, great restaurant and while I wouldn't say it was baby friendly in its set up, they couldn't have been more helpful. Also found HCMC a good place as they love kids so much.


Not been to many resorts but I also enjoyed Tanjung Aru and found it v kid friendly - I personally prefered it to Rasa Ria as it's closer to town and the islands.


Singapore is IMO the easiest place in Asia with kids - I've never been somewhere where we've been offered a high chair the minute we've walked into practically every restaurant - of course my expectations aren't high, I live in Guangzhou!!!
