A friend of mine (a girl) met someone onine, and she's now asking me to go with her to meet this guy.
I thought online dating is for teens, does it really work? Am i being a prude and old antique for not believeing it?

It's completely normal now. There are many people online who don't like the bar scene and are too busy to use traditional means. Of course there are still freaks out there so going with your friend is a nice idea. I've dated a few people met online over the past few years and never had a problem. Nice guys too. Good luck!

One of my girlfriends in HK met her man (husband now who was living in Boston back then) thru online matchmaking service. After a few months into their long distance relationship, he came to HK to visit her once. A few months later, she went over to Boston to visit him and that's when he proposed to her!!! They got married May last year and are now living in HK.
