Furniture - Ap Lei Chau

Hi, are there any other warehouses / areas whre one can buy furniture in Ap Lei Chau? I was told by a friend (who is no longer in Hong Kong) that she bought furniture in another place in Ap Lei Chau....

Other than Horizon Plaza in ALC, there are number of furniture shops (inc. Chinese-style, antique and "antique" ones) at Hing Wai Centre on Tin Wan Praya Road in Aberdeen.

The shops at Ap Lei Chau are quite expensive. Not to say that they aren't worth it, but nice wooden furniture is definitely not cheap.


Macau is also an option as some people go there to order pieces and have them shipped over, but it is hit and miss depending upon which shop you buy from.


My friends and I have recently bought a bunch of teak furniture to furnish my whole apartment direct from the manufacturer (20ft container). And I ordered extra pieces to fill up the container since shipping costs are same whether full or not.
