Hi, I am a Filipina who work as nanny here in Pudong. Please give me your opinion regarding my apply to Sweden, I received an offer of employment from sweden. so i check the website on how to get working visa. but it says that i need a valid residence but since i cannot have it coz i am not officially residing here... I need to go back Philippines. Now my question is there any possibilities that i can get a working visa? I dont want to put myself in risk.... Please give me some advise, If there1s sweden national here please give your opinion.... Tnanks

If you have a valid working visa then you are considered a resident, please check your visa category.
Alternatively, find out if there is a Swedish consulate in Shanghai and arrange a meeting with the consul for info.
And prepare some documents to support you during the interview.

No i am only handling business visa here, thats makes me confused, I already have all the website and there is sweden consulate here in Shangahai and the only problem i have is that i dont have a valid residence certificate.

I heard that they issued residence certificate a few years ago, but has been discontinued.
Visa issued here is thru PSB(Public Security Bureau), please
ask a Chinese speaker to look at it.
Arrange an interview with the consulate, that will ease your mind.
