hang in there,
the 1st couple of weeks when the morning nap is dropped, toddlers will be quite tired before their lunchtime nap. so for those weeks, you might want to give them a slightly earlier lunch and put them down for an earlier nap. e.g. if they usually lunch at 11.30 and sleep by 12noon, you might need to bring the lunch forward to 11.15 and have them down by 11.45am. then gradually push it forward again.
at least that's how i dealt with it!

We are at 15 months, and we still keep the 9-10 and 1-3 (ish) nap.
Sometimes baby is just in his bed talking to himself for 9-10... sometimes sleeping... sometimes half and half... only once a week or so does he cry and refuse.
We like to keep this as 'quiet time' even if he isn't always sleeping.
