Ok. Had eyebrows done at Connie - OK, was desperate, just do plucking, was pretty cheap. Had a pedi at Essential Spa - was pretty good but a bit expensive ($360), great chairs! Had a pedi today to The Hairdressers - not on Caine Rd but it was great and cheaper than ES.
Hope this helps some....

Connie was OK, quite clean tho they only plucked my eyebrows. English was limited. Pedi at Hairdressers was $300 but she was really good. Her name is Shradha. She is the only beauty/nail person there. I originally wenbt in and had my eyebrows threaded (something I had never even heard of before coming to HK!)used to always get them waxed but she was really good at the eyebrows and I asked if she did pedi's and...here we are! The price list for all their services is on the website if you want to check the prices of other things.

Had a brilliant mani and pedi last week at Beauté Par Zai (no I don't work for them - I actually went to see what all the fuss was about as their name keeps appearing in this forum!). It cost $300 for BOTH, which also makes it the best value I've found in Hong Kong (Shanghai trim was an extra $100).
This was my third visit to this salon - my first was for a dermabrasion facial, the second was for a brazilian wax - and I can honestly say the prices, friendly staff and overall professionalism (not to mention the results!) mean that I won't be returning to any of the salons I used to frequent.

Connie is ok. I've had a few manicures that were dreadful (she chopped off all my nails). I would get the mani during a facial so I couldn't see what she was doing. I still go back for the facials but I might actually try a different place one of these days. But, that said, they are nice and it is cheap, too.
A new foot massage place opened across from ParkNShop that is really nice, great service and really great foot and body massages. They speak English and new have English language magazines! :)
