I want to get a tattoo to symbolize my experience living in Hong Kong.
I already have a black tribal butterfly on my right shoulder.
I would like to get another tattoo on my other shoulder.
I want something related to flight, but not another butterfly and also something asian.
Any ideas?

Exactly what came to my mind, D-Man! What about the Dragonair logo? It's actually quite attractive and presumably not copyright?? Doubt if they'll pay you to advertise them, mind..!

You can't actually get in trouble for using copyright images as tattoos, as a tattoo isn't classed as 'selling' its a service provided. why'd ya think so many people can have mickey mouse tattoos etc etc?! Some ppl have tried to copyright their actual tattoo design, but its all a little up in the air legality-wise.

you can in fact get sued for having a tattoo of a trade marked or copyright image. you dont have to be selling anything. an image that is copyrighted is not to be used without permission of the company or person who owns the right. if a company or person wants to sue someone for having their copyright image on them then they have the right unless the person wearing the tattoo has permision from the owner. It just so happens that it has not yet been a problem but thats not to say someone may not make it one.

wow, maybe the laws have changed. i can't imagine this means that ppl won't still get band logos, Disney characters etc for a very long time....! Joy.
