where in Shanghai does one buy electronic components - capacitors, resistors, potentiometers, circuit boards etc.??

The best place is SEG Electronics Market (Sai Ge Dian Zi Shi Chang). The address is No.668 East Beijing Rd. (Bei Jing Dong Lu). There are four basements not sure on which one you could get your stuff but it shouldnt be hard to find if you ask.
